Stockton College Receives Grant to Continue Work With Arts Program
The college received a $200,000 grant to continue to co-produce the Emmy-Award-winning "State of the Arts NJ" program.

The Richard Stockton College of New Jersey will continue to co-produce the Emmy-Award-winning “State of the Arts NJ” program.
The college received a $200,000 grant through the New Jersey Council for the Arts to continue participation, the college announced Wednesday morning.
Stockton has been a co-producer of the show with the New Jersey State Council on the Arts in cooperation with PCK Media since 2011, following the demise of New Jersey Network public television.

The show shines a spotlight on New Jersey’s artists and arts organizations.
Dean Lisa Honaker, of Stockton’s School of Arts and Humanities, and Dean Robert Gregg of the School of General Studies, work with members of the Arts Council and PCK Media on matters related to the show’s production and promotion.

“State of the Arts NJ” has featured the work of Stockton faculty including Dr. Michael Pedicin, jazz saxophonist, recording artist and associate professor of Music; Pulitzer-Prize-winning poet Dr. Stephen Dunn, Distinguished Professor Emeritus of Creative Writing; and sculptor Jed Morfit, associate professor of Art.
