'Strong' Storms Possible During Warmest Galloway Christmas Eve On Record: NWS

Strong storms are possible this Christmas Eve, the NWS says. Meanwhile, temperatures have already broken records.

The National Weather Service has issued a Hazardous Weather Outlook this Christmas Eve, saying isolated “strong” thunderstorms are possible.

According to the NWS, the storms could come with gusty winds.

An hour-by-hour forecast posted by the Weather Channel shows the highest likelihood for showers and thunderstorms after 5 p.m.

Temperatures will climb to the 70s Thursday, breaking records for the warmest Christmas Eve in history, the Philadelphia Inquirer reports.

The Hazardous Weather Outlook has been issued for all New Jersey counties.

The regional forecast for Christmas Day calls for cloudy skies and balmy temperatures in the mid-60s.
