NJRW-Sponsored Book Fair Will Help Support Literacy Efforts Statewide
Iselin, N.J.—In just a few weeks, book-lovers will have the chance to meet some of their favorite authors, stock up on fantastic novels, and raise money for a great cause in the process.
Between 50 and 70 authors will be on hand to sign their latest releases and meet readers at New Jersey Romance Writers’ Literacy Book Fair and Autograph Signing on Saturday, Oct.18, from 4:00 to 5:30 p.m. at the Renaissance Woodbridge Hotel in Iselin.

The book fair, which is open to the public, is being held in conjunction with NJRW’s 2014 Put Your Heart in a Book Conference, an annual event that attracts more than 300 writers interested in the romance writing industry. All events will take place at the Renaissance Woodbridge Hotel, 515 Route 1 South, Iselin.

· Susan Mallery, a New York Times bestselling author, who has more than 25 million books sold worldwide. She’s known for creating characters who feel as real as the people next door, and for putting them into emotional, often funny situations readers recognize from their own lives.
· Roxanne St Claire, a New York Times and USA Today bestselling author, has written more than thirty full-length novels of suspense and romance, including three popular series (The Bullet Catchers, The Guardian Angelinos, and Barefoot Bay) as well as multiple stand-alone books. She’s a six-time nominee and one-time winner of the RITA Award and has won the National Reader’s Choice Award for best romantic suspense three times, as well as the Daphne du Maurier Award, and many others.
· Jennifer Probst is a New York Times and Wall Street Journal bestselling author who writes both sexy and erotic Romance historical romances for Gallery, Entangled, Decadent, and Red Sage. She’s also written a children’s book, Buffy and the Carrot, and co-written a book with her twelve year old niece.

“The issue of literacy is one that is close to the hearts of our members, who are authors and avid readers alike. It’s a privilege to be able to contribute, even in a small way, to LVA-NJ’s efforts in this area,” said Carol Mahler, 2013 NJRW president.
Founded in 1984, New Jersey Romance Writers is a chapter of Romance Writers of America and is home to more than 150 members, including nearly 70 published authors. NJRW is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing support, information, and resources to writers and published authors, acting as a central information point for activities in the field of romance writing and the romance publishing industry.
