Teen Shot And Killed In Pleasantville

A homicide investigation is underway for the death of Byron Jones.

PLEASANTVILLE, NJ — A homicide investigation is underway after a teen was shot and killed Tuesday night, according to the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office. Authorities identified the victim as Byron Jones, 18, of Pleasantville.

Pleasantville police responded to Edgeley Avenue after receiving a 911 call at 10:14 p.m. Tuesday, funding Jones with multiple gunshot wounds. The ACPO Major Crimes Unit began investigating the scene.

Authorities scheduled an autopsy for completion Wednesday.
