One Killed In Triple Shooting In South Jersey

A search is underway for whoever was responsible for a triple shooting in New Jersey.

A man was shot and killed and at least two others were wounded in a shooting in South Jersey on Sunday evening, Atlantic County Prosecutor Damon G. Tyner has announced. A search is underway for the suspect.

The Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office did not identify the victims of the shootings as of 3:30 p.m.

The shootings were discovered after a 911 call was received at the Hamilton Township Police department at 5:30 p.m., on Sunday, according to the ACPO. Police responded to a report of shots fired, and that several victims were shot at the Brandywood Townhomes.

When police arrived, three victims were found to be shot and one of them died as a result of his wounds. The male victim was pronounced dead at Atlanticare Regional Medical Center City Campus and an autopsy will be completed Monday, according to the ACPO.

One victim remains in critical condition and at least one other victim was treated and released

The investigation is ongoing and is a cooperative effort between the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crimes Unit and the Hamilton Township Police Department. The Egg Harbor City Police Department and the New Jersey State Police also responded to the scene.
