Two Hospitalized Following Friday Morning Accident in Galloway

They were both in stable condition Friday afternoon.

Two people were hospitalized following an accident at Tilton Road and Racetrack Road late Friday morning, Galloway Police said.

Steve Seeburg, 55, and Sattary Behrouz, 64, were both hospitalized at AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center City Division following the collision at 11:59 a.m. They were both in stable condition as of Friday afternoon.

According to a witness and evidence, Seeburg was stopped on Racetrack Road and preparing to turn onto Tilton Road. Behrouz was traveling south on Tilton Road.

Seeburg thought Behrouz was going to make a right turn onto Racetrack Road, so he proceeded to pull out.

As a result, the left front portion of Seeburg’s vehicle hit the front end of Behrouz’s vehicle. Seeburg was then extricated from his vehicle due to the extensive damage to his driver’s side door.

Seeburg was issued a summons for failure to yield.

Galloway Ambulance Squad, AtlantiCare Medics and the Germania, Pomona and Bayview fire departments all responded to the scene.

The road was closed for about 20 minutes.
