Each of the four suspects damaged McDonald’s property during the altercation and engaged in threatening and violent behavior, police said.
Ambulance personnel responded to the McDonald’s to assist employees and customers with any medical or breathing issues, police said. Medical treatment was refused, and no one was transported to the medical center.
Detectives later reviewed surveillance camera coverage from the restaurant as well as the viral video that circulated on the Internet and social media, police said.
The video posted to YouTube by SoJo 104.9 shows a woman climbing on top of a counter to apparently pepper-spray the security guard. The girls are then shown throwing items such as straws and cupholders as people start to run out the door (story continues below the video).
