GALLOWAY, NJ — AtlantiCare celebrated Thursday the release of their 99th and 100th patients to test positive for the new coronavirus. Providers and staff lined the hallways as they congratulated the patients to the tune of "Here Comes the Sun" by The Beatles.

Linda Goodman, of Mays Landing, left AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center Mainland Campus. Then Eliecer Miguel-Mendez departed from the ARMC Atlantic City Campus.

“We only had a peek of sunshine in Atlantic County on this cloudy day,” said Edward Hamaty, AtlantiCare's chairman of critical care. “But inside the hospital campuses, smiles were shining brightly behind our masks. Our dedicated care team is pleased to honor these and all our patients and their families who have been impacted by COVID-19."
