Woman Hit By 2 Cars While Crossing Street In Galloway Wednesday Morning [UPDATED]

One of the cars, a dark colored pickup truck, didn't stop after hitting the woman.

GALLOWAY TOWNSHIP, NJ — A 52-year-old Atlantic City woman was hit by two cars — including one that didn’t stop — while crossing the street at Jimmie Leeds Road and Ash Avenue early Wednesday morning, Galloway Township Police said.

Dorcas Frimpong was attempting to cross the westbound lane of Jimmie Leeds Road at about 6:55 a.m. when she was hit by a 2006 White Dodge Durango being driven by 39-year-old Zeika Gomez, of Galloway, according to police.

Frimpong was thrown into the eastbound lane, where she was hit by a dark colored pickup truck that continued driving east, failing to stop after hitting her.

Police previously reported the second vehicle was a dark-colored SUV, but that information was corrected Wednesday afternoon.
