Police got a description of Gadson and video surveillance of her fleeing on Texas Avenue. Officers found her bike on the 2500 block of Pacific Avenue.
Officers then found Gadson about to enter a convenience store with a gun in her hand. The gun had an orange tip and officers did not know what kind of gun she was holding, police said.
Officers told Gadson to drop the weapon and she refused, continuing into the store, police said. They followed her into the store, still ordering her to drop the weapon while safeguarding customers inside, police said.
After more verbal commands, Gadson dropped the gun, which was determined to be fake, according to police.
Gadson was arrested and found to have 15 active warrants for her arrest, police said.
She was charged with unlawful possession of a weapon, simple assault, terrorist threats and obstruction of justice. Gadson was taken to the Atlantic County Justice Facility.
