Fire Burns Multiple Apartments, Cars In Gloucester Twp.
It happened in the same neighborhood where a separate fire destroyed a different townhouse a little over a week ago.

GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ — A fire burned multiple homes and vehicles in a Gloucester Township townhouse community early Friday, police said.
Crews responded at 1:30 a.m. to the fire, which came from an apartment in the middle of a row of Cherrywood neighborhood townhouses. It impacted two middle units in the row of homes and multiple vehicles in the driveway on the 1600 block of Bryant Place.

The fire displaced residents in one of the apartments. They will be staying with local family, police said.
One person was brought to the hospital for minor smoke inhalation.

A Gloucester Township police officer noticed the fire while patrolling the area. Ptl. Shawn Kelly called in additional first responders and ensured the residents were evacuated, police said.
Firefighters opened up the second floor of the apartment and controlled the blaze. The Blackwood Fire Company shared photos showing damage on both floors in the middle of the complex.
The fire was deemed non-suspicious, but the cause remains under investigation as of late Friday morning.
