12 Military Members Injured In Turnpike Crash In Camden Co.: Reports

A truck driver, who was also hurt, hit a disabled bus that was transporting military personnel, according to 6abc Action News.

RUNNEMEDE, NJ — A dozen military members and a truck driver were injured Wednesday in a crash that shut down the Jersey Turnpike in Camden County, according to reports.

A disabled bus was straddling the northbound right lane and shoulder when a tractor-trailer hit it at 12:55 p.m. in Runnemede, authorities told Patch.

None of the injuries were life-threatening, according to State Police.

The bus was transporting military personnel from Maryland, according to 6abc Action News.

All northbound lanes were temporarily closed after the crash, which remains under investigation.
