2 Arrested After Fight At Gloucester Premium Outlets: Police

Two people were arrested after a fight involving four people at the Auntie Anne's store at the Gloucester Premium Outlets, police said.

GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ — Two Philadelphia residents were arrested following a fight at the Gloucester Premium Outlets on Monday, Gloucester Township police announced.

Four people were involved in the fight at the Auntie Anne’s store, but by the time police arrived at about 3 p.m., they had all left, police said.

Officers were able to find one person who had left the store, and he cooperated with their investigation, police said.

Police then saw 41-year-old Bertram Walker walking away from the store toward the parking lot. However, police said he refused to speak to them, and they ultimately had to resort to physical force to subdue him.

Jennifer Freeman, 32, then approached police and attempted to stop them from arresting Walker, police said. After warning her several times, police said they arrested Freeman, as well. No one was injured in the altercation, police said.

Walker was charged with obstruction and resisting arrest. Freeman was charged with disorderly conduct. They were each issued summonses and released on the scene, pending court appearances.

All use of force incidents are investigated by the Gloucester Township Police Professional Standards Bureau.
