2 BHPRSD Wrestling Teams Qualify For Playoffs

Highland and Timber Creek both have the chance to win titles this season.

GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ - Two Black Horse Pike Regional High School wrestling teams are set to compete for championships. Highland and Timber Creek both have the chance to win titles this season.

Highland (10-7) is the No. 3 seed in the NJSIAA South Jersey Group 4 wrestling tournament, according to nj.com. Highland hosts No. 6 Hammonton (12-6) in the quarterfinals on Monday, Feb. 4, 6 p.m.

The winner faces the winner of the match between No. 2 Clearview and No. 7 Moorestown in the semifinals on Feb. 6. The championship match is set for Feb. 8.

Highland was scheduled to wrestle at Hammonton in a regular season match Wednesday night.

Kingsway (11-6) is the top seed in the tournament, and was scheduled to wrestle at Clearview in a regular season match Wednesday night.

Timber Creek (9-16) is the No. 5 seed in the NJSIAA South Jersey Group 3 wrestling tournament, according to nj.com. The Chargers will visit No. 4 Lakewood (13-9) in the quarterfinals on Monday, Feb. 4, 7 p.m.

The winner faces the winner of the match between top-seeded Lacey and No. 8 Burlington Township in the semifinals on Feb. 6. The championship match is set for Feb. 8.
