2 Black Horse Pike Football Teams Advance In Playoffs
Highland and Timber Creek are still alive in their respective playoff pursuits.

GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ — Two of the three Black Horse Pike Regional High School football teams are still alive for South Jersey championships. Highland and Timber Creek have each advanced in their respective football fields, while Triton fell in the first round.
Johnny Martin ran for a pair of touchdowns in No. 2 Highland’s 28-14 win over No. 7 Ocean City in the first round of theNJSIAA South Jersey Group 4 playoffs, according to nj.com. Martin scored on runs of 92 and 40 yards. Javon Randall and Kasim Randall-Dale also scored for the Tartans.
Highland will host No. 3 Clearview in the semifinals on Friday, Nov. 9, 7 p.m. The championship game is set for Nov. 16. To view the full bracket, visit nj.com.

The South Jersey Group 4 champions will play the Central Jersey Group 4 champions the week after Thanksgiving. To see the Central Jersey Group 4 bracket, visit nj.com.
No. 5 Timber Creek upset No. 4 Wall, 33-28, in the first round of the NJSIAA South Jersey Group 3 playoffs, according to nj.com. Donovan Leary threw two touchdown passes, and Jayvin Little caught a pair of touchdown passes in the win.

Timber Creek will visit top-seeded Burlington Township in the semifinals on Friday, Nov. 9, 7 p.m.
No. 6 Triton was unable to pull off an upset, falling to No. 3 Woodrow Wilson, 41-6, according to nj.com. Davaun Payton had Triton’s only score of the game, on a 5-yard run in the second quarter.
Woodrow Wilson will visit No. 2 Delsea in the semifinals on Friday, Nov. 9, 7 p.m. The championship game is set for Nov. 16. To view the full bracket, visit nj.com.
