2 Blood Drives In Gloucester Township Set For October

The American Red Cross honors Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October.

GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ — There will be two blood drives in Gloucester Township this month as the American Red Cross honors Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October.

The blood drives in the Blackwood section of the township will take place as follows:

  • 10/22/2018: 2 p.m. — 7 p.m., Gloucester Township Senior Campus No. 1, 405 Woodbury Turnersville Road; and
  • 10/23/2018: 9 a.m. — 2 p.m., Camden County College, Madison Hall, 200 College Drive

Donors of all blood types are needed to help ensure a sufficient supply for patients this fall, especially after Hurricane Florence and subsequent flooding forced the cancellation of more than 6,000 blood and platelet donations last month, according to the American Red Cross.
