$20,000 Reward Still Available in Gloucester Township Woman's Suspicious Death

A $20,000 reward is still available for information that leads to a resolution in the unresolved, suspicious death case of a Gloucester Township woman whose body was discovered in a wooded area behind her apartment complex on June 24, 2013.

Tipsters are eligible to receive $10,000 if an arrest is made relating to the death of 59-year-old Carol Reiff, and an additional $10,000 if there is a conviction.

In an effort to generate new leads, the Gloucester Township Police Department worked with Reiff’s family to create a detailed video about the case, police said Monday morning. Reiff, 59, last spoke to her family on June 20, 2013, one day before she planned to visit family members in Manahawkin.

The cause and manner of her death are listed as pending. Her death has not been ruled a homicide, but the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office and Gloucester Township Police Department are treating the matter as a criminal investigation.

Detectives from both agencies are actively investigating her death. The Camden County Prosecutor’s Office Homicide Unit is overseeing the investigation.
