2023 Election Results For NJ-4: State Senate, Assembly Races
The Democratic party will continue to represent District 4, with the Associated Press calling the close races late on Election Night.

SOUTH JERSEY — The Democratic candidates have won District 4's State Senate and Assembly elections, according to the Associated Press.
The AP declared Dan Hutchison and Cody Miller as winners of the Assembly election at around midnight Wednesday. Shortly after, the AP called the district's State Senate race, declaring Assembly Member Paul Moriarty as the victor.

About 97 of the votes have been counted in the races, according to the AP's estimate. All Election Night results remain unofficial until certified on a later date.

State Senate, 4th Legislative District (one open seat):
97 percent of votes counted
- Paul Moriarty (D): 29,252 votes
- Christopher Del Borrello (R): 24,297 votes
- Giuseppe Costanzo (I): 1,661 votes
State Assembly, 4th Legislative District (two open seats):
97 percent of votes counted
- Dan Hutchison (D): 28,525 votes
- Cody Miller (D): 28,183 votes
- Amanda Esposito (R): 25,880 votes
- Matthew Walker (R): 25,137 votes
- Maureen Dukes Penrose (I): 1,113 votes
