3 Stabbed During Fight In South Jersey, Several Hospitalized: Police

GLASSBORO, NJ — Three people were stabbed during an altercation Friday night in Glassboro, officials said.

A suspect, who police haven't publicly identified, was charged and taken into custody the following morning.

At about 11:30 p.m. Friday, police responded to a report of two stabbing victims around Oakwood and Whitney Avenues. Officers found that both people were stabbed during a physical altercation, and a third victim was also stabbed, authorities said.

Multiple people were taken to local hospitals, but their conditions weren't immediately clear.

Police interviewed witnesses and identified a suspect, who officials placed in the Salem County Jail. Additional information is forthcoming, according to the Glassboro Police Department.
