6 More Coronavirus Cases Reported In Gloucester Township
As of Friday, there were 828 cases of the coronavirus in Gloucester Township with 50 deaths.

GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ — Six Gloucester Township residents were among 32 additional Camden County residents who have tested positive for the coronavirus, officials announced on Friday.
As of Friday, there were 828 cases of the coronavirus in Gloucester Township with 50 deaths. Countywide, there are 8,523 cases with 530 confirmed deaths.
“Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims and their families, and we are wishing a speedy recovery to everyone who has contracted this disease,” Camden County Freeholder Director Louis Cappelli Jr. said. “More than four months into this pandemic, we are still losing innocent lives to this virus. As we continue to reopen our economy and consider next steps in this process, we cannot lose sight of just how deadly coronavirus is, especially to members of vulnerable populations. We are asking everyone to do their part to protect our seniors and individuals with underlying conditions. Wear a mask, social distance, and stay home if you are sick. If each of us takes these simple actions, we will continue to save lives and reduce the risk posed to these populations.”

- Two men in their 40s;
- A woman in her 30s;
- A man in his 20s;
- A woman in her 20s; and
- A man in his 30s.
According to the Camden County Department of Health, there are 1,335 confirmed cases among residents at the county's long-term care facilities, with 308 deaths. Another 503 cases were reported among staff members, with three deaths.
