“This pandemic has been marked by one grim milestone after another. Today, we announce with a heavy heart the loss of 22 additional Camden County residents, bringing our total number of victims to over 500,” Camden County Freeholder Director Louis Cappelli Jr. said. “The toll of this pandemic has been absolutely devastating. Hundreds of families in our community have been torn apart by this virus, and news from around the country raises fears that we will continue to face additional loss of life in the weeks and months ahead. The only way to prevent this from happening is to continue following the guidance of public health officials. Wear a mask, social distance, avoid large gatherings, and stay home if you are sick. This fight has not been easy, and it is not getting easier, but we can win the war against this virus if we work together and individually take responsibility for the health and well-being of those around us.”
