Two People Rescued From Car Following Accident in Gloucester Township

The accident was reported Tuesday afternoon.

Gloucester Township, NJ --Two people were injured in an accident that took place at the intersection of Blackwood-Clementon Road and Little Gloucester Road Tuesday afternoon, Gloucester Township Police said.

A two-car crash left the driver and passenger in one car trapped. They were rescued by the Blackwood Fire Department, and transported to Cooper Medical Center by GTEMS.

They were treated for minor injuries, and are expected to be released.

The driver of the other car was uninjured.

Little Gloucester Road was closed between Blackwood-Clementon Road and Broadacres Drive for about an hour while officers investigated the scene. The accident remained under investigation Tuesday night.
