All Day Celebration For Tree Lighting In Gloucester Twp. Dec. 8

GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ — Gloucester Township is throwing an all-day party to mark the arrival of Santa Claus. The township will hold its annual Tree Lighting event on Sunday, Dec. 8, at Veterans Park, 1261 Chews Landing Road next to the municipal complex.

The celebration begins at 1 p.m. when amusement rides open for the day. Food trucks will arrive and activities will begin at 4:30 p.m. The Mainstage Center for the Arts will perform at 6 p.m.

That all leads up to the main event; the main reason why everyone will converge on the park that day. Santa Claus will arrive for the tree lighting at 6:30 p.m. For more information, call 856-374-3520.
