Almonesson Road Closed For Construction Starting Monday
Part of Almonesson Road in Gloucester Township will be closed for construction four days next week.
GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ — Public Service Gas & Electric Company (PSE&G) crews will continue a major utility pole replacement project at the intersection of Lower Landing Road and Almonesson Road in Gloucester Township, beginning Monday, Nov. 4, county officials announced.
Almonesson Road will be closed between Lower Landing Road and State Route 41 in Gloucester County from Nov. 4-7, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day. There will be a posted detour.
“This project will continue to affect several major thoroughfares in our area, requiring a complete closure of one roadway for several days,” Shin Angulo said. “Motorists should continue to plan around the area if possible while crews are at work. If you’re in or around the construction area, please be sure to remain extra vigilant for sudden stops, shifting traffic patterns, and any crews or equipment that may end up in the roadway.”
