HADDON TOWNSHIP, NJ — The "Cheese Etc. & Gourmet Gifts" boutique store held a grand opening on Thursday after moving to its new location in the township.
After more than 11 years in the SoHa Arts Building, owners Ken & Gina Horlacher felt it was time to move into a larger space.
The team moved their whole production kitchen and retail operations to 31 Haddon Ave. in October 2025 while continuing to operate at multiple farmers' markets.
Along with cheese spreads, jams, wine jellies, and macaroni and cheese, the store prides itself in its customers knowing that there "will always be 'something' wrapped and ready to go."
Guests can pick up various assortments of gift items and gift baskets that are already prepared, or make their own custom order.
The shop sources ingredients from other locally-owned businesses, such as Schober Farm, Muth Family Farm, Mill Creek Apiary, Valenzano's, Wagonhouse, Heritage Winery, Saddlehill, and Stokelan.
Products from local breweries such as Tonewood, Flying Fish, Zed's, and Yard's also have a presence at the store.
The Horlachers also host cheese-making classes, which will continue to be offered at the new location.
"Cheese Etc. & Gourmet Gifts" began in Collingswood in 1988, before the business was purchased by its current owners in 2004.
After 10 more years at the Collingswood shop, the owners moved to the SoHa Arts Building in Haddon Township before relocating to their new shop.
"Cheese Etc. & Gourmet Gifts" offers delivery, shipping, and store pick-up options, and is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.
