PINE HILL, NJ — A group of six people were taken to the hospital after a fire early Tuesday morning, according to Action News.
The Pine Hill Borough Police Department said utility crews will be working all morning in the area of the fire that broke out in the 100 block of Erial Rd.
All residents of the family, including a few children, were able to escape safely after the fire began at around 1 a.m.
"I was just on the ground preparing to bury my son, and he came running through the flames into my arms," Lo Worrell, one of the residents of the home, told Fox 29.
Her son was up late and was the first to hear the alarm and see smoke.
The conditions of the family's injuries and what caused the fire are both still unclear.
