GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ — An officer with the Gloucester Township Police Department was arrested on Friday in connection with the creation of child pornography, the Salem County Prosecutor's Office said.
Randy Pearce, 38, of Lower Alloways Creek Township, was charged with first-degree endangering the welfare of a child and third-degree endangering the welfare of a child.
Both charges are in reference to the recording of a child nude in the bathroom on multiple occasions, with at least one on March 29, court filings showed.
Pearce is an Army veteran and former school resource officer, according to ABC.
He is also the co-owner and business manager of Swazey Farms in Lower Alloways Creek.
Patch has reached out regarding his current status within the Gloucester Township Police Department and is yet to hear back.
