SICKLERVILLE, NJ — A 33-year-old man was arrested after two shootings in Winslow Township on Friday, the Camden County Prosecutor's Office said.

Jermine Jones, of Sicklerville, was charged with first-degree attempted murder, second-degree unlawful possession of a weapon, second-degree possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, and third-degree aggravated assault.

At around 4:30 p.m., Winslow Township Police officers responded to the 500 block of Chews Landing Road for a report of a shooting.

They found a 33-year-old man, also from Sicklerville, who was shot multiple times. The man was flown to Cooper University Hospital in critical condition.

He and Jones were acquaintances, authorities said.

Detectives found another crime scene on the grounds and learned that Jones was also shot and taken to a hospital in Philadelphia.

The events surrounding how he was shot are still unclear.

A .45 caliber handgun was also found at the scene.

Authorities determined that Jones was responsible, however, for shooting the other man.

He was taken into custody at the hospital in Philadelphia and will be held in Pennsylvania to await extradition to New Jersey.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Timothy Jordan at (856) 365-3073 and Detective Michael Smith at (609) 567-0700 (ext. 1226).
