GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ — A 28-year-old Camden County woman was indicted on Wednesday after she tried to pay a man she met on Tinder to kill her ex-boyfriend and his teenage daughter, the United States Department of Justice said.

Jaclyn D. Diiorio, also known as "D" of Runnemede, was charged with two counts of using interstate commerce facilities in the commission of a murder-for-hire.

From around March 30, 2025, through around April 5, 2025, Diiorio used her cell phone and tried to pay a confidential informant $12,000 to murder a Philadelphia Police officer and his daughter.

The two met at a Wawa in Runnemede on March 31, 2025, and continued to message and call each other.

Diiorio was arrested on April 4, 2025, after she met with the informant at a business along Black Horse Pike while he was wearing a wire earlier in the day.

She also had Xanax pills that she wasn't prescribed in her purse at the time of her arrest, authorities added.

The Camden County Prosecutor's Office was able to speak with the Philadelphia officer who confirmed that he dated Diiorio after meeting her while she was his barber.

He told authorities that he broke up with her on March 6, 2025, and had filed a temporary restraining order against her in August 2024, which was later dropped.

Diiorio now faces a maximum of two years in prison.

She made her first appearance in federal court on Wednesday and is scheduled for a detention hearing on Monday.
