WINSLOW TOWNSHIP, NJ — A 39-year-old man sexually abused a child for years, the Camden County Prosecutor's Office said.
A jury found Bryan Sisco-Downs, of Winslow Township, guilty of two counts of first-degree aggravated sexual assault, three counts of second-degree sexual assault, and two counts of second-degree endangering the welfare of a child.
On October 16, 2023, the Prosecutor's Office and Winslow Township Police Department began looking into Sisco-Downs after a 12-year-old girl reported abuse.
Detectives learned that the acts took place multiple times between December 2019 and October 2023 when she was between the ages of nine and 12.
Sisco-Downs was charged on Oct. 16, 2023, and taken to the Camden County Correctional Facility.
The girl, now 15, testified at the two-week trial.
Sisco-Downs now faces at least 25 years in state prison without parole, with a maximum of life sentences on each of the first-degree charges.
He will be sentenced on Jan. 13, 2027.
