Bank Robbery In South Jersey Under Investigation

Police are seeking a suspect who fled the scene with a bag of money.

BRIDGETON, NJ — Police are seeking a suspect who robbed a bank Tuesday in Cumberland County.

The suspect — described as a white/Hispanic male — entered TD Bank in Bridgeton around 2:30 p.m. Monday and handed the teller a note demanding money, police said. He then grabbed a bag of money from behind the counter and fled the South Laurel Street bank on foot.

No arrests have been announced as of Thursday morning.
