Black Horse Pike Baseball Teams Make Playoffs

Triton is the No. 1 seed in Group 3. Highland will host a playoff game, and Timber Creek will hit the road.

GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ - The road to the NJSIAA South Jersey Group 3 baseball championship goes through Triton Regional High School.

Triton is the No. 1 seed in the playoffs, and is set to host No. 16 Central Regional in the first round on Monday, May 20, according to nj.com. The winner plays the winner of the game between No. 8 Toms River South and No. 9 Pinelands in the quarterfinals on May 23. The semifinals are set for May 28, and the championship game is scheduled for May 31.

Triton is 16-3 this season, according to nj.com. Central is 3-15.

All three Black Horse Pike Regional baseball teams made the playoffs. Matchups were announced on Thursday, and become official at noon on Friday.

Highland is the No. 5 seed in Group 3 and will host No. 12 Toms River East in the first round. The winner plays the winner of the game between No. 4 Ocean City and No. 13 GCIT in the quarterfinals. Highland is 14-7 this season, according to nj.com. Toms River East is 7-12.

Timber Creek is the No. 14 seed in Group 3 and will visit No. 3 Moorestown in the first round. The winner plays the winner of the game between No. 6 Hammonton and No. 11 Lacey in the quarterfinals. Timber Creek is 6-12, according to nj.com. Moorestown is 11-6
