
Gloucester Township, NJ -- All three Black Horse Pike Regional School District teams still have a shot at the NJSIAA South Jersey Group 3 boys soccer championship.
The team that appears to have the best shot is Triton, the No. 6 seed in the 16-team tournament, according to the brackets posted on nj.com.
Triton will host No. 11 Cumberland Regional in the first round, to be played by Oct. 31.

Triton (13-3-1) is unbeaten in its last seven games, beginning with a 0-0 tie at Woodstown on Oct. 4. It has one game left, against Haddon Heights, before the tournament begins.
Cumberland’s (5-9-2) regular season is complete.

The other two boys soccer teams in the district are lower seeds.
Highland is the No. 13 seed, and begins the playoffs on the road at No. 4 Cherry Hill West.
Highland is 6-10-1, and defeated Triton, 2-0, on Sept. 20. The Tartans visit Gloucester Tech in the regular season finale before the playoffs begin.
Cherry Hill West is 15-2, and has advanced to the semifinals of the South Jersey Coaches Association tournament.
Timber Creek has the steepest hill to climb of the district schools, earning the No. 16 seed and a trip to No. 1 Ocean City in the first round.
Timber Creek is 4-11-1, but didn’t allow a goal in any of its wins, and played Cherry Hill East to a 0-0 tie earlier this season. The Chargers have one game left, at Lenape, before the playoffs begin.
Ocean City (12-3-1) has won seven games in a row, and claims six shutout victories this season. It has games remaining at Egg Harbor Township and at Mainland before opening tournament play on Monday.
The quarterfinals of the tournament are scheduled for Nov. 3, with the semifinals to follow on Nov. 7. The championship game is set for Nov. 10.
