Here are all the important dates families need to know about for the coming school year.
GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ — The first bell on the 2019-20 school year is still more than a month away, but it's never too early to get your school calendars in order. To help out, we've compiled a listing of important dates for the Black Horse Pike Regional School District in the coming year:
- First Day of School: Sept. 5
- Back to School Night: Sept. 26
- No School for Students: Sept. 27
- Single Session for PSAT Testing: Oct. 16
- Single Session for Students: Oct. 29
- Schools Closed for NJEA Convention: Nov. 7-8
- Single Session: Nov. 27
- Schools Closed for Thanksgiving: Nov. 28-29
- Single Session for Students: Dec. 4
- Schools Closed for Winter Break: Dec. 23-Jan. 1
- Schools Closed for Martin Luther King Day: Jan. 20
- Single Session for Students: Feb. 6
- Schools Closed for Students: Feb. 14
- Schools Closed for President's Day: Feb. 17
- Single Session for Students: March 23
- Schools Closed for Spring Break: April 10-17
- NJSLA Testing: May 19
- Single Session for Students: May 20-21
- Schools Closed for Memorial Day: May 25
- Single Session for Students: June 12
- Single Session For Students: June 15
- Last day of School, High School Graduation: June 16
Families are advised not to make any irrevocable vacation plans. Makeup dates will begin with June 6, 7, 8 and 9, followed by additional Spring Break days in the following order: April 24, 23, 22, 21.
