Black Horse Pike Wrestling Teams Qualify For Playoffs

Highland and Timber Creek both begin their playoff quests Monday night.

GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ — Two Black Horse Pike Regional High School wrestling teams are headed to the playoffs. Highland and Timber Creek both begin their playoff quests Monday night.

Highland is the No. 3 seed in the NJSIAA South Jersey Group 4 tournament, according to nj.com. The Tartans host No. 6 Hammonton in the first round of the tournament on Monday night, Feb. 5. The winner faces the winner of the match between No. 2 Clearview and No. 7 Shawnee in the semifinals on Feb. 7.

Cherry Hill West is the No. 1 overall seed, and hosts No. 8 Moorestown in the first round. The winner faces the winner of the match between No. 4 Toms River East and No. 5 Pennsauken in the semifinals.

Timber Creek is the No. 8 seed in the NJSIAA South Jersey Group 3 tournament, according to nj.com. The Chargers visit No. 1 Delsea in the first round. The winner faces the winner of the match between No. 4 Jackson Liberty and No. 5 Seneca in the semifinals.

Lacey is the No. 2 overall seed and hosts No. 7 Lakewood in the first round. The winner faces the winner of the match between No. 3 Gateway and No. 6 Pemberton in the semifinals.
