Blood Drive in Honor of Gloucester Township Boy Battling Cancer Set for March 15

Gloucester Township, NJ -- The Gloucester Township Police Department will host a blood drive in honor of 8-year-old Nico Cassabria next week.

Cassabria was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma, a type of childhood Cancer that arises from nerve tissue outside of the central nervous system. It can be found anywhere along the spine.

Nico’s Army is a group of people who have come together to help Cassabria in his fight. The Nico’s Army Facebook page has over 7,000 followers.

An American Red Cross Blood Drive in his honor takes place at the Gloucester Township Senior Center on Tuesday, March 15, 11 a.m.-4 p.m. The senior center is located at 1261 Chews Landing Road.
