Authorities found the body of a woman in the Delaware River Friday.The body is believed to be a Chester, Pa. <a href="http://www.delcotimes.com/general-news/20150417/womans-body-found-in-the-delaware-river" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">woman who has been missing since March</a>, according to the Delaware County Daily Times.Police, firefighters and an investigator with the Delaware County Medical Examiner's office responded to an area behind the Tinicum Fire House aroun 4 p.m. on Friday, according to the report. The body was reportedly discovered a short time before.An investigation is pending, but Chester Police Commissioner Joseph Bail Jr. said preliminary information indicates the body is that of a woman who has not been seen since she walked away from her home on March 21, according to the report.The body was found by a <a href="http://6abc.com/news/body-found-on-island-in-delaware-river/666847/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Philadelphia Police marine unit </a>on Tinicum Island in Delaware County. The unit then notified Delaware County and Tinicum Police, according to the Channel 6 Action News.
