I Can Hear Again!

Hello. My name is Alan and I am a new blogger here. I will tell you my story in a few blogs.

For 49 years, I was deaf. Later on, I will tell you how that happened. Since Feb. 7, 2013, I finally heard the birds sing, the wind blow and my 7-year-old daughter's voice. I was totally deaf in my right ear.

My ENT doctor told me about the BAHA. I thought it was a drink, even though I don't touch alcohol. It requires a abutment (screw) being drilled into my skull.

I've been through worse. I almost died when I was 7. More details coming soon.
