Camden County College Lecture Tackles Popular Constitution Fallacies
The lecture at the college is Oct. 18.

GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ — From Paul Revere’s Ride to the Liberty Bell, from the winter at Valley Forge to the First Amendment, you might be surprised how much of what you think you know is wrong or incomplete, Camden County College officials said. The college is providing a lecture that can help fill the gaps.
The "Constitution Day Lecture: Finding Fallacies" lecture takes place on Wednesday, Oct. 18, 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Civic Hall on the college’s Blackwood campus in Gloucester Township.
“The Broadway show Hamilton plays fast and loose with some of the facts about the founding era,” the college said in a release. “That is not the only place where some ‘alternative facts’ about the Revolutionary period can be found. … Join us to celebrate the Constitution and clarify some common misconceptions about the Founding.”
