Camden Co. Woman Killed In South Jersey Crash: Police
The initial collision sent her car past the center median, where an oncoming vehicle struck it, authorities said.
HAMILTON TOWNSHIP, NJ — A Camden County woman died in a crash that also injured five others last week in Atlantic County, officials said.
Karina Castillo, 29, of Pine Hill, was pronounced dead at the scene of the three-vehicle collision Wednesday on the Black Horse Pike in Hamilton Township.
At about 2:15 p.m., a 2014 Chevrolet Equinox collided with Castillo's 2011 Honda Civic as both vehicles traveled west on the pike, just west of High Bank Road, police said. After the contact, Castillo's vehicle crossed over the center painted median into the eastbound lanes, where an oncoming 2015 Ford Fusion struck her vehicle, according to law enforcement.
