Camden Man Shot to Death Monday Afternoon

Vincent Burnett, 27, was found on the ground after having been shot several times.

A 27-year-old Camden man was shot to death in the City Monday afternoon, Camden County Prosecutor Mary Eva Colalillo and Camden County Police Chief Scott Thomson announced.

Camden County Police responded around 1:30 p.m. to Thurman and Pershing streets in Camden for reports of a gunshot victim.

Upon arrival, they discovered Vincent Burnett on the ground, having been shot multiple times. He was transported to Cooper University Hospital where he was pronounced dead at 1:57 p.m.

The investigation is ongoing and there are no suspects at this time.
