Man In Critical Condition After Being Hit By Car In Gloucester Township: Police

The unidentified man was hit Wednesday morning.

GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ — A man is in critical condition after he was hit by a car in Gloucester Township Wednesday morning.

Gloucester Township Police found the unidentified man lying in the street while responding to a report of

a pedestrian motor vehicle crash on Blackwood-Clementon Road at College Drive at about 10:30 a.m.

He had what police described as "injuries to his head," and was taken to Cooper University Hospital for medical treatment.

The driver remained on location, police said in a statement Wednesday afternoon. No charges had been filed as of Wednesday afternoon.

Blackwood-Clementon Road from College Drive to Kelly Drivers Lane was temporarily closed during the investigation.
