Change of Location for Gloucester Township Memorial Day Services

The ceremony has been moved inside due to predicted inclement weather.

Gloucester Township, NJ -- The Gloucester Township Memorial Day has been moved inside due to predicted inclement weather, township officials announced on Sunday.

The ceremony, set for 11 a.m. on Monday, May 30, will now be held in the council room in the municipal building. 

Official Memorial Day events will be held at seven township monuments prior to the event.

If the weather is nice, the parade will follow the events. It begins on Lincoln Drive, proceeds down Chews Landing Road, and ends at the entrance to Veterans Park.

The Gloucester Township Police Department, Local Government, Members of American Legion Post 281, the American Legion Post 281 Honor Guard, Auxiliary Unit 281 and Squadron 281 will all participate in the festivities.
