Child Dies After Being Found Unresponsive On Gloucester Twp. School Bus: Authorities
An investigation is continuing; school staff and first responders tried to revive the 12-year-old, who died 8 days later, authorities said.
GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ — A 12-year-old child who was found unresponsive on a school bus in Gloucester Township has died, authorities said Saturday.
Authorities are investigating the incident, which happened Jan. 24, said Andrew Kramer, spokesman for the Camden County Prosecutor's Office.
Kramer said first responders and school staff performed lifesaving measures on the child, who was taken to Jefferson Hospital in Washington Township and later transferred to Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.

"Despite all medical efforts, the child passed away on Tuesday," Feb. 1, Kramer said.
The Camden County Prosecutor’s Office and the Gloucester Township Police Department are investigating. No further information is being released at this time, Kramer said.
