2 Gloucester Township Cops Injured In Scuffle With Man
Robert Allen, 36, of Clementon, was charged in connection with the incident, police said.
GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP — Two Gloucester Township police officers were injured following a scuffle with a Clementon man on Friday, authorities said.
Robert Allen, 36, of Clementon, allegedly threw a bottle at a vehicle with a Gloucester Township police officer inside, according to a post on the Gloucester Township Police Department's Facebook page.
A second officer found Allen walking on Blackwood-Clementon Road and tried to stop him, authorities said.

Allen refused to stop, entered a Sunoco gas station, ran behind the gas station's register and ignored the police officer's orders to stop, authorities said.
Several officers went to the gas station and were ultimately able to subdue and arrest Allen, according to authorities.

Two officers had minor injuries and were treated at the scene, authorities said.
Allen faces charges of obstruction of justice and resisting arrest in connection with the alleged incidents, authorities said.
He was released on a criminal summons pending a court appearance in accordance with New Jersey Bail Reform, authorities continued.
