Man Was Pirating Neighbor's Wi-Fi To Download Child Pornography: Prosecutor
Police executed a search warrant at the home of the alleged breached Wi-Fi connection Monday morning, but ultimately arrested a neighbor.

A Clementon man was taking advantage of his neighbor’s unprotected Wi-Fi connection to download images of child pornography, Camden County Prosecutor Mary Eva Colalillo said Monday morning.
Members of the Camden County Prosecutor Office High Tech Crimes unit with assistance from the Gloucester Township Police Department SRT executed a search warrant at a house on Woodmill Drive in Clementon where child pornography was allegedly being downloaded at about 5:30 a.m. Monday.
However, after interviewing the homeowners, police became convinced that they were not to blame for the alleged child porn activities.

Instead, further investigation led detectives to conclude that a neighbor was using a wireless router to steal the homeowner’s Wi-Fi and download the child pornography.
Ultimately, Louis LaSalle, 55, was charged with third-degree possession and second-degree distribution of child pornography.

They also seized the wireless router they say LaSalle used to connect his laptop to connect to his neighbor’s unprotected Wi-Fi.
