'Coco' Movie Night Is Friday Night In Gloucester Township

GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ — Gloucester Township will hold its first free movie night of the year this week.

Residents are reminded to bring their blankets and chairs for a screening of Disney's “Coco” on Friday night, May 25, 7 p.m.-10 p.m. in Veterans Park, 1261 Chews Landing Rd. Laurel Springs, NJ 08021.

Food and games begin at 7:30 p.m. The movie begins at dusk. The Gloucester Township Police Department's Community Relations Team will be on location with the Community Outreach Truck.

According to the synopsis: “Despite his family's generations-old ban on music, young Miguel dreams of becoming an accomplished musician like his idol Ernesto de la Cruz. Desperate to prove his talent, Miguel finds himself in the stunning and colorful Land of the Dead. After meeting a charming trickster named Héctor, the two new friends embark on an extraordinary journey to unlock the real story behind Miguel's family history.“
