Cooper Health Bars Visitors Amid Coronavirus Outbreak
Cooper Health System has temporarily suspended visitors from their facilities amid the outbreak of new coronavirus.
Cooper University Hospital is temporarily not permitting visitors at all their facilities and locations as of Monday in an attempt to prevent the spread of new coronavirus, the health system announced.
- Patients in hospice or end-of-life care;
- One visitor/support person for maternity patients;
- One visitor/support person for pediatric patients; and
- One visitor/support person for an individual undergoing same-day surgery or an ambulatory procedure.

Visitors will be screened for influenza-like illness/symptoms, and will not be permitted if they have symptoms. The health system encourage visitors to connect with their loved ones electronically through apps such as FaceTime, Skype, Google Duo, and SnapChat.
