Coronavirus Test Site In Gloucester Township Expanding Hours
The coronavirus drive-thru testing site at Camden County College in Gloucester Township will expand its hours beginning Tuesday.

GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ — The coronavirus drive-thru testing site at Camden County College will expand its hours beginning Tuesday, county officials announced.
The site, located at Camden County College’s Blackwood campus, directly adjacent to Peter Cheeseman Road in Gloucester Township, will continue to prioritize first responders, healthcare workers and other frontline, essential personnel who have been working throughout the pandemic.
“Almost 30 percent of our total confirmed positive caseload of COVID-19 patients are working on the front lines of this public health crisis,” Camden County Freeholder Director Louis Cappelli Jr. said. “The need for testing continues to be vital, and we want to make sure everyone working in an essential capacity — from the EMT answering calls to the grocery store clerk stocking shelves — has the ability to come to the site. This initiative, combined with social distancing and other mitigation factors, will help us break the back of this virus.”

“Jefferson is committed to improving the lives of our community members,” Jefferson Health Interim President Brian Sweeney said. “By partnering with the Camden County Freeholders to open and provide clinical support for this drive-through COVID-19 testing site, we continue to make a direct impact in the lives of frontline workers in the battle against coronavirus. By taking care of those who are taking care of others, our healthcare organization will help ‘flatten the curve’ of infection.”
