Crash Kills 2 Children In Camden Co.: New Details Released
The children were 2 years old and 9 months old, according to the GoFundMe of a parent who was hospitalized after the crash.
ATCO, NJ — Two children were killed after a vehicle struck them and a third pedestrian near the Atco Motel in December, police revealed.
One of the victims was pronounced dead at the scene during the Dec. 29 incident, while the other child succumbed to their injuries a day later, authorities said last weekend.
Waterford police also identified the third pedestrian — Fynazia Candia — who was transported to Cooper University Hospital in Camden for "serious" injuries.

Jedidiah was 2 years old, and Gianna was 9 months old, according to Candia, who says she underwent eight surgeries related to the crash. The GoFundMe page supports food, clothing, housing and medical expenses, Candia says.
Police responded to the crash at 5:24 p.m. Dec. 29 near the motel on the White Horse Pike. On that day, one victim was pronounced dead at the scene and two were flown to local hospitals. One of the hospitalized victims was pronounced dead the day after.
Previously, police reported that three pedestrians were struck — including two who died and one who was severely injured. But until last weekend, police hadn't disclosed the names or identifying info of anyone involved in the crash.
